Whatââ¬â¢s best for the kids? Itââ¬â¢s time for school, and some parents have to consider if they should send their teenagers to a private high school. Nearly one in every four parents are debating switching their child from a public school to a private school or vice versa. (Private Versus) The main reason parents choose to send their kids to a private high school is because private high schools have a reputation of having a better education than public high schools. However, many parents do not have the option to send their kids to a private school because of financial reasons. Nonetheless, I believe that academically the teachers and the curriculum in a public high school are close to teachers and the curriculum in a private high school, and that socially a public school is better for students. Academically, public schoolsââ¬â¢ teachers are close to private schools. If it was not for teachersââ¬â¢ academics would be nonexistent, which is why teachers play a big role in the academics of the school. Teachers in public schools tend to make more money than teachers in private high schools. In fact, they tend to make roughly ten thousand dollars more than teachers from private schools. Moreover, teachers in public schools are required to have a teaching license, whereas teachers in private schools are not required to have a teaching license. Therefore, better teachers tend to work in public high schools and are more qualified to teach.
